Dr. Thomas D. Coates/ Head of Hematology: Dr. Thomas Coates is a Professor of Pediatrics and Pathology, Childrens Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, and currently serves as the Section Head for Hematology and Director of the Sickle Cell Center and Hemoglobinopathy Program.
Dr. Kapoor:Dr. Kapoor is the Director of the Division of Research Immunology/Bone Marrow Transplantation (RI/BMT) and the Medical Director, Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She is also a Professor of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California.
